About Us

We are a community-based organization dedicated to making the Santa Clarita Valley better for all who live here.
With the help of our members and volunteers, we find ways to stay involved in local initiatives year-round.

Our organization was brought together by a desire to bring about positive changes in the Santa Clarita Valley. As Democrats, we believe that our neighbors deserve to live free from discrimination and bigotry, that all our children should receive quality education, that everyone should be able to breathe clean air and have safe drinking water, and that working one job should be enough for anyone to thrive.

The Santa Clarita Valley is home to an increasingly diverse population. There are about just as many registered Democrats in the city as there are registered Republicans, and local voters have elected more and more Democrats to several local offices. Still, so many long-time Republican incumbents continue to misrepresent our communities’ interests. We deserve elected leadership that truly represents us.

That’s why we’re working hard to serve our communities and help elect Democratic candidates. These candidates often have a serious chance. However, the support of volunteers — everyday people — is essential to pushing Democratic campaigns over the finish line.
